Snorkeling Tours in Costa Rica

All equipment (mask, snorkel, fins, floating device), a certified guide, refreshments (water, iced tea, fruit & cookies), and the boat trip.

The tour costs $65 USD including 13% VAT.

The tours depart from our Dive Center Rich Coast Diving in Playas del Coco, Guanacaste, and explore top snorkeling sites in the Gulf of Papagayo with rich marine life including turtles, rays and tropical fish.

No prior experience is required. Our expert guides lead you safely and at a comfortable pace, making the tour suitable for beginners and families and also fun for experienced snorkelers.

Bring a towel, reef-safe sunscreen, a swimsuit, and perhaps a camera or GoPro. For your comfort in the Pacific waters, a rash guard or long sleeve shirt is advisable.

Snorkeling at Rich Coast Diving is available all year. The best visibility and calmest waters usually occur between mid-May and late November, but excellent snorkeling experiences can happen anytime. On every trip, we select snorkeling sites carefully to ensure your comfort and the best opportunities to see marine life.

The Pacific waters in Guanacaste stay between 26 °C and 31 °C (79 °F – 88 °F) year-round. A rash guard is usually enough to stay comfortable in the water.
