About Specialty Courses

Continue your diving journey and gain the skills needed to explore the world’s best dive sites with internationally recognized SSI specialty training — PADI equivalent certifications accepted worldwide.

Choose from over 20 specialty programs, including deep diving, nitrox, perfect buoyancy, underwater navigation, photography, ecology, and more.

As you complete specialties, you’ll automatically earn the following recognition levels:

  • SSI Specialty Diver = 12 logged dives & 2 specialty certifications

  • SSI Advanced Specialty Diver = 24 logged dives & 4 specialty certifications

  • SSI Master Diver = 24 logged dives, 4 specialty certifications + Diver Stress & Rescue
